Hi , I’m Shouna, an Interior Architect & Designer at Inwood Design in Dorchester.

I work on a diverse range of commercial and residential projects, from designing bespoke handcrafted furniture and architectural joinery to full-scale refurbishments and whole builds. My role is to collaborate with clients and my team to create designs that are both functional and tailored to the client’s vision—whether it’s a single drawer or an entire building. I produce detailed 2D drawings for our workshop, CNC machines and on-site teams, as well as 3D visualisations to help clients bring their projects to life.

I graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2020 with a degree in Interior Architecture & Design. Prior to joining Inwood, I spent nearly five years as a Kitchen Planner & Designer in Weymouth, Dorset, where I developed a strong foundation in practical design solutions and client collaboration.

I am passionate about working on projects that blend modern design with historic character, particularly in repurposing older buildings for contemporary use. I love exploring how spaces can be transformed, while respecting existing features and heritage.

Visualisation is one of my favourite parts of the design process, whether through 3D renders, sketching or animations, as it helps clients fully experience and understand the design.

I thrive on challenges, enjoy working across a variety of projects, and am always eager to continue learning and growing within the field of design.
